Mary to Farap
From Mary we headed into the longest desert stretch to Turkmenabat. We had enormous headwind, sand blowing in our eyes and beautiful scenery. In Turkmenabat we stayed in an old Sovjet style hotel.
Desert to Mary
Crossing into Turkmenistan the wind picked up and we started on our 5 day stint through the country. We had a rough road, camels and some nice food along the way.
