Assam was hot and hectic. We decided to push up the speed and enjoy the flat plains as long as they would last. Also we cycled through beautiful tea estates and village area.
From Jang it was a short push to Tawang town. We visited Nuranang waterfall and made it all the way up to hillstation Tawang and beautiful and interesting Tawang Monastery.
Down to Dirang, up to Sange along multiple switchbacks, even more up and over Sela pass with hail coming down and won the other side to Jang in Tawang valley.
The last section to Seppa and then along the mainroad up and up until we reached Bomdila. There was a Tibetan Buddhist presence on the road and the scenery changed from jungle to pine.
We left the Apatani tribe and Ziro valley behind, cycled down, had a lot of rain, muddy roads, new roads and made it over a small jungle pass to Rilloh.
In Daporijo we saw local culture, we cycled up the mountain and were surrounded by village life. We crossed a river, an 1800m pass and dropped down to Zero, the most known Apitani village.
We visited Kohima market where they sell dog. We cycled in the heart of Nagaland where villages are only on the top of the hills. We crossed two rivers and made it almost up the pass in Cheteba.
